Founder
Katlego T. Kabotho
Katlego established and leads Maranyane Medical Laboratory, driving the lab’s strategic direction, operations, and quality assurance programs. She designs and validates testing protocols across biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, metabolic profiling, and immunochemistry, and champions ISO-aligned systems to ensure accurate, timely results and data confidentiality. Her hands-on leadership includes recruiting and training staff, implementing process improvements, and enhancing client experience through efficient workflows and community outreach.
Before founding Maranyane, Katlego held commercial and technical roles across Botswana’s healthcare sector. As Sales & Marketing Manager at Mediland Healthcare Distributors she led product strategy, stakeholder engagement, and digital initiatives; earlier, she worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Scottish Livingstone Hospital, where she supervised testing, maintained equipment, and contributed to method development and quality control. She also founded the Healthy Africa Foundation to expand health education and basic diagnostic access locally. Katlego’s strengths lie in laboratory science, quality systems implementation, strategic leadership, and community-focused service delivery.
